@GovTimWalz As you allow lakes, rivers, and wetlands to be poisoned through “exploratory” mining? That’s where you think families want to live???

A construction worker about to start heavy machinery heard faint chirping coming from inside it. A robin had built a nest inside - with tiny, hungry nestlings just moments from danger. He stepped in just in time; the nest was rescued and brought to us at Tiggywinkles💚🐦

A dog named Odin was rescued after being left in a hot car for more than two hours in Houston, Texas, where the temperature inside climbed to 113°F. Police say he was found panting heavily, with the windows coated in dried slobber, before officers pulled him out and gave him water.

These are not just old saddles gathering dust in a forgotten corner of history. Look closer. Each one once rested on the back of a living, breathing animal that never asked to be there. A horse that knew nothing of Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, or the frozen hell that was Stalingrad. A horse that simply followed, because that is what horses do. They trust. They serve. They endure. Romanian cavalrymen rode these animals into one of the most savage battles ever fought by human hands. The temperatures dropped to minus 40. The ground turned to iron. Men wept and horses collapsed, and the war kept moving anyway. More than 6 million horses served on the Eastern Front during World War II. They hauled artillery through blizzards. They carried the wounded across open ground under fire. They pressed forward across frozen steppes until their legs simply gave out beneath them. And when they fell, nobody came. No burial. No name. No record. They were left exactly where they dropped, swallowed by snow and silence. This photograph feels like the cemetery they never received. Every worn saddle is a nameless tombstone for a soul that once ran free, once breathed clouds of steam into the winter air, once gave everything it had to a war it never understood. We remember the generals. We remember the battles. We carve names into stone walls. But the horses? They got nothing. Until now. Remember them. #ForgottenVoices #WorldWarIIHistory #HorsesOfWar #EasternFront #HiddenHistory ~The History Today

WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK IS GOING ON IN BRITAIN?! 😡 A Wetherspoons manager in Braintree has just been caught on camera openly refusing to serve customers who support Reform UK. “I’m deciding that”, he smugly tells punters. Refusing service over politics?! In a bloody pub?! Reform UK is currently the biggest party in the country, leading the polls at 25-28%, favourites to win the next election. These aren’t some fringe weirdos, they’re ordinary, hard-working Brits. The exact salt-of-the-earth customers who pack out Wetherspoons every week, keep the pints flowing and the lights on. Without them, half these pubs would be broke. And some snotty little bar manager thinks he can play political gatekeeper? F*ck off! That’s not how Britain works. You don’t get to ban paying customers because of who they vote for. If you can’t handle serving people with different views, don’t work with the public. Simple as. Tim Martin, sort this out and fire him immediately. This is a disgrace.

So, if I'm understanding this correctly... We spend years writing our novel, making it as original and unique as possible. ✍️😅 And then we have to search for "comp titles" when querying to prove that the book is NOT original and unique? 🤔🤷‍♂️😆 #amwriting #writingcommunity
