i’m rewatching soh88 right now, and one thing I noticed is how differently jade reacted to edward and k when they met again.
when jade saw edward for the first time after so many years, she recognized him immediately, even after his drastic physical change. meanwhile, with k, he literally had to remind jade who he was, and her response was just, “kiko?” it genuinely felt like she had already forgotten him.
that’s why I don’t think Jade ever truly loved Kiko the same way people make it seem. i think she was just confused because she saw traces of eddybear in him, the soft, kind, caring side that she once fell for in edward. we all know Jade liked eddybear before everything changed. but when edward came back into her life, those feelings resurfaced instantly kaya may pa-slowmo moment siya when she saw edward again. the problem was, edward wasn’t eddybear anymore. He became arrogant, prideful, and full of himself.
still, the moment Edward started showing that softer side again without making her feel confuse, jade fell for him all over again. I think that says everything.
so for me, it was always edward for jade.

one thing I learned nung 2022 is that advocacy is not only about being correct, it’s also about connection. Calling things out is important, but doing it in a way that invites conversation instead of humiliation. Most people kapag alam nilang napapahiya sila mas paninindigan nila ang stance nila to make you or the other side feel more frustrated and angry.
At the end of it all, we need more people to vote for good governance and wake them sa lahat ng gulo na nangyayari sa bansa. Real change happens when people feel reached, not attacked. And honestly, I think more people need to realize that.

Mas grabe pa yung kilig ng nanay ko kay Kenzo kaysa sakin. Sobrang pogi raw kasi ni Dustin on screen, and honestly, bagay na bagay sa kanya yung action-romcom genre. He has that charm and presence na ang dali panoorin, kaya mas lalong effective yung character niya
