Everyone! I've solved it. Once, I was told by an administrator that everything that happens in a hospital is measurable. I emotively disagreed, citing things such as human kindness, care, culture. However, I have worked out an equation that mathematically explains ED overcrowding

Heartbreaking watching the demise of the acute care system in Australia. Today's versions. 5 day waits for a bed. Ambulance delays. 7 to 10 hour waits to be seen for sick kids. Meeting no one's expectations (including our own)and not able to support community fully when needed.

@ketaminh Agree- have never seen a Covid patient. We’ve had less than 40 in our LHD since it started.Also was pregnant in 2020 & was scheduled on the “cold” side of our ED thanks to a great boss. now coming back off Mat leave & am vaccinated- feel much more comfortable going in this time!
