Today we came together to remember those healthcare workers who have died by suicide.💙 To mark the UK’s inaugural National Suicide Memorial Day for Health and Care Workers, guests gathered for the unveiling the first virtual memorial tree plaque at NHS Practitioner Health’s headquarters in London and held a poignant minute’s silence. Our charity and @NHSPracHealth organised the memorial day so that there would be an annual date dedicated to healthcare workers who have taken their own lives. Across the country, there were various tree planting ceremonies and memorial events at NHS organisations to remember healthcare workers and reconfirm their commitment to protecting staff’s mental health. We hope today has been a fitting memorial to those lives lost and we will continue to work hard to prevent the suicide of health workers.

@AvantiWestCoast - your delay repay process is deeply flawed with no help offered. I was delayed so long that I could not attend an important event and cannot upload my eticket for a refund. Very frustrated!

@AvantiWestCoast Not sure if you saw my levels message - that the difficulty is uploading my e-tickets purchased in Trainline. No pdf or email receipt and no easy of asking for help at that point. After the delays yesterday, this is frustrating

Given the increasing rates of mental illness amongst healthcare workers, we are shocked that @NHSPracHealth's vital services have been decommissioned for secondary care staff. This service has been a lifeline to so many. We will continue to support secondary care staff but we are not a treatment service. We cannot replace the work of @NHSPracHealth. It is essential that this decision is reversed #mentalhealth #MentalHealthSupport #Wellbeing #healthcare
