And it sucks that for chronically ill people, it can very easily turn into a cycle of questioning and doubting yourself. I have found myself thinking that I am pretending that my (very real) chronic pain exists and using it as an excuse to get help. What the hell.

As a chronically ill person, something that hurts just as much as the pain is when someone tells you you're feigning it to seek attention. Like fuck you. I hope you go through this much pain on the daily too. Then we'll see if it's about attention or perpetual suffering

I was never able to focus on watching films and shows (weird because I could read long books so it's not an attention span issue) but recently I've been watching a lot of things, stuff that most people have seen but I'm getting to experience for the first time, and it's nice :)
