I've never seen the level of sheer abusive language against any Indian politician that was on display at Jantar Mantar against Modi. And not only words, but in graphic images, cartoons. Make of it politically what you will.

As a woman, it hurts to see this behavior. We talk about dignity, feminism, womanhood but resorting to foul abuse and then playing the victim card ruins our credibility. If you disagree with me and tagging me in defense of this, show the videos of these girls, swearing to your own mothers and sisters ,daughter first…Disagree politically all you want, but don't excuse vulgarity under the guise of victimhood….

For all those protesters who attacked reporters: CJP spokesperson @SauravDassss was on all the so-called “Godi Media” channels last night. It seems Mr Das was keen to appear on the very “Godi Media” whose reporters were assaulted by the mob protesting under the banner of CJP.

Dharmendra Pradhan resigned. Still, the police are taking details of the student protestors. Since @Cockroachisback has left its promise to take action against the police for brutality, it is acting freely. #jantarmantar

Don't know about A-listers, but the rest of the Hindi industry clearly has a lot of spine. No centrist shit whatsoever: Abhishek Banerjee, Vijay Varma, Manav Kaul, Raghav Juyal, Ishaan Khattar, Ananya Panday, Tillotama Shome, Imran Khan, Jim Sarbh, Amol Parashar, Rasika Dugal, Saiyami Kher, Divyendu, Shreya Dhanwantry, Ali Fazal, Konkana Sen Sharma. I can just go on and on and on.

The timeline tells the story. Most public reactions came only after the Prime Minister’s first acknowledgement of the CJP Gen Z protests. Timing matters.
