No guarantees he’ll be a success obvs but at least he has a pretty strong CV. Would much prefer to take a gamble on someone like this instead of a coach who’s only experience is 2 years in the Championship (I’m sorry Michael)

With all this midfielder news the only constant I can see right now is Baleba. Feels like he’s the only one you can say with a certain level of confidence that we’ll sign (assuming it’s decent price), and on player side very easy to do

So much scoring potential, but you’d need to ensure you have specialists on the ball in defence to balance him & helps Kobs. I think Carrick would merge him v nicely with Kobbie / Bruno + the other new signing. £ though.

Tonali - Wharton could work?? Former does the dog work in midfield and provides the intensity whilst the latter provides progressive passing and dictates play from deep. Would cost an absolute fortune though
