According to Dr. Kevin Reese, the prevalence of dementia is linked with the widespread use of statin drugs. "Statin drugs came out in 1987... Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia spiked in the 1990s." "Now you see it all the time... Why? Because so many people are on statins, which means you're not getting enough cholesterol, and you need cholesterol for your brain."

Good news for fermented foodies! A new study says bacterium found in fermented kimchi adheres to nanoplastics in our gut & may help our body excrete more than twice as many! The bacterium, which is also present in sauerkraut, helped evacuate 57% of nanoplastics in human intestine simulations. Fermented foods just got more interesting! h/t @ken_trails

Life is strange. You arrive with nothing, spend your whole life chasing everything, and still leave with nothing. Make sure your soul gains more than your hands.

Doctor: "Your type 2 diabetes markers have completely normalised." Patient: "Yes." Doctor: "And you've lost 22 kilos." Patient: "Yes." Doctor: "The blood pressure medication..." Patient: "I stopped taking it. Blood pressure is 118 over 76." Doctor: "You stopped without telling me?" Patient: "I told you I was going to change my diet." Doctor: "I didn't think it would... I mean, type 2 is chronic." Patient: "Apparently not always." Doctor: "What did you actually do?" Patient: "Removed sugar and seed oils. Ate meat. Walked." Doctor: "That's it?" Patient: "That's it." Pause. Doctor: "We're told it's a progressive condition." Patient: "It progressed in the wrong direction for them." He kept the file open a long time before he typed anything.

There is a pattern, and it runs through everything. The sun was free. They sold you sunscreen. Sleep was free. They sold you pills. Walking was free. They sold you a treadmill. Fasting was free. They sold you meal replacement shakes. Cold water was free. They sold you a plunge barrel. Animal fat was free. They sold you supplements to replace what it contained. Fermented food was free. They sold you probiotics. Tallow was free. They sold you a seventeen-step skincare routine. Silence was free. They sold you a meditation app. Sunlight on your skin was free. They sold you vitamin D tablets. Every single thing the human body requires to function was available, free, for the entirety of human history. The 20th century built an industry around removing access to each of them. The 21st century is building an industry selling them back. Nothing about this is accidental. Your great-grandmother had none of the products. She had all of the things the products are compensating for. She was, largely, fine.

Gabor Maté laid out the four non-negotiable needs every child has — and modern life is failing most of them. In this 38-second clip he says children require: - Strong, constant attachment to adults who are truly present - To never have to “work” or perform to keep their parents’ love and approval - Full permission to feel and express every emotion without shame or rejection - Free, unstructured play in nature — no gadgets, no screens, no internet games These aren’t nice-to-haves. They’re essential for healthy human development. When any of these is missing, the damage shows up later — anxiety, disconnection, emotional shutdown, addiction to screens as a substitute for real connection. In 2026, with kids spending more time on devices than in free play, and parents often distracted or conditional in their presence, how many of these four needs are actually being met? Which one do you think is being violated most in today’s world — and what are you doing (or planning) to protect it for the kids in your life?

“Did you know over 50% of the Bees in the World died last year?” “Bees are responsible for one third of our Food Sources.” “It’s not an accident...it’s a Bee Genocide.” This subject receives nowhere near enough attention & by the time it does, it may well be too late.

The secret to slowing aging may not lie in your genes—but in your kidneys. For centuries, healers believed every wrinkle, gray hair, and burst of vitality came from one source: your kidney’s vital energy. Now scientists are confirming two sharp aging spikes—around 44 and 60—that align almost exactly with what ancient medicine predicted. What if aging isn’t random decay, but a measurable energy loss you can restore naturally? The answer could rewrite everything we know about growing old. 🧵 THREAD

It's just a little bit of chlorine in your water. It's just a little bit of heavy metals in your food. It's just a little bit of fragrance in your perfume. It's just a little bit of benzene in your sunscreen. It's just a little bit of aluminum in your deodorant. It's just a little bit of PFOA's in your nonstick pans. It's just a little bit of phthalates in your plastic toys. It's just a little bit of methanol in your surface cleaner. It's just a little bit of artificial coloring in your toothpaste. It's just a little bit of ammonia in your sugar-free sweetener. It's just a little bit of propylene glycol in your skincare products. It's just a little bit of sodium lauryl sulfate in your laundry detergent. When does "just a little bit" become too much for the body to handle?

The dystopia doesn't arrive with tanks and soldiers. It arrives with safety officers and compliance forms. It arrives with "for your protection." It arrives with applause. And by the time you notice you're in a cage, the door has already been welded shut.
