Join the National Day of Action this Saturday July 18 to demand justice for Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and Joan Sebastian Guerrero! Stop ICE terror!
Party for Socialism and Liberation@pslnational

🚨NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION ON SATURDAY, JULY 18: The entire country must rise up to stop ICE’s killing spree. On July 7, ICE agents murdered Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston. Today ICE murdered Joan Sebastian Guerrero in Maine. These deaths are not accidental — they are the direct result of the Trump administration’s war on working-class immigrant communities, a war which is now demanding agents arrest 2,000 people per day. After the people of Minnesota organized strikes and shutdowns to drive out Operation Metro Surge, ICE tried for several months to “stay out of the headlines.” But ICE’s overall aggressive and violent approach has continued with new tactics, and now a massive budget. Every Congressperson who has voted for ICE funding is responsible for these crimes. ICE may have pulled the trigger but they handed them the guns. The vast majority of the country opposes the racist deportation drive Trump is waging in our communities. We want justice, equality and full rights for all immigrants. Now we must stand up and refuse to allow this violence to go unchallenged. In the name of Joan, Lorenzo, Alex Pretti, Renee Nicole Good, Jaime Alanis, Keith Porter and so many other victims of ICE Terror: all out this Saturday, July 18!

🇻🇪Now more than ever, end all U.S. sanctions on Venezuela! Donate to earthquake relief for Venezuela ➡️ peoplesforum.org/vzrelief Two devastating earthquakes hit Venezuela on June 24. As of today, June 29, the death toll stands at 1,450+, and over 3,000 people have been injured. Tens of thousands are reported missing. While the Venezuelan people and its institutions have been working around the clock to respond to the catastrophe, their capacity to respond has been undercut by a decade of over 1,000 U.S. sanctions, which remain in place even today. Donald Trump has publicly bragged that after the so-called “one-day war” against Venezuela on Jan. 3, the U.S. has been able to extract millions of barrels of oil to “repay” what the U.S. spent in its massive military deployment against Venezuela. We firmly reject Washington’s war on Venezuela, whether through sanctions or airstrikes, the Venezuelan people must have sovereignty over their resources, land, and political decisions. As the country struggles to recover from this disaster, we stand in solidarity with the people of Venezuela and demand that they be free from U.S. control and meddling. Trump himself has admitted the government can’t pay for universal childcare or healthcare programs like Medicaid and Medicare because of the massive military budget, which he seeks to increase by another $1.5 trillion. This is an abomination. The people of Milwaukee and beyond demand a permant end to the war on Iran and the Middle East – money for people's needs, not death and destruction!

The Trump administration and Israel, despite the ceasefire agreement with Iran, have made it clear that they have no regard for human life and are willing to ruthlessly bomb Iran, Lebanon, and the entire region. We demand: hands off the Middle East. Stop the bombing. Stop the killing!

🚨TODAY! 60+ cities across the country will rally to say Trump is a war criminal – end to the war for good! Find an action near you or visit stoptrumpswars.org for more information 🧵 As people around the world expressed their outrage against Trump’s spiraling war of aggression — with the Iranian people defiantly rallying on bridges and demonstrations growing inside the U.S and worldwide — the Trump administration was compelled to temporarily step back from its genocidal threats. But the war against the Iranian people needs to end permanently, not just for two weeks! The details of the ceasefire are still emerging, but Trump is still suggesting he could go back to bombing if he wants. Unless sanctions are lifted and US forces return home, the conditions for war remain. Trump has needlessly killed thousands in his war of choice, caused economic suffering the world over, and he must be held accountable.
