Always awesome seeing the amazing @venkat_s who had an awesome talk about how to use AI for finding code issues. Really great example based talk full of insights! 💡💡💡🙌 @DevoxxUK #DevoxxUK #conference #development

Always exciting to hear my speaker friend @trisha_gee at @DevoxxUK who had an awesome talk about tests and how we can use AI to supercharge and improve our tests. There was a lot of useful insights you can apply to any language or testing framework . 🙌🙌👀
My favorite quote: Invest time in writing better tests that will be easier to troubleshoot, less flaky, and better document your system's expected behavior. 💡💡💡
Definitely check out this talk!! #DevoxxUK #conference #development #testing

Finally premiered my new talk Empathy-Driven Development: The Key to Unlocking True Accessibility? in person at @DevoxxUK for the first time!! Everything went amazing and really happy how it turned out!! 😍 Hoping to present this on more conferences! #DevoxxUK #conference #speaker #accessibility #webdevelopment

Great meeting speaker colleague @DevPaco and he had insightful and example-based talk about code reviews at @DevoxxUK! 🙌 I liked seeing concrete examples like using linting for commits messages, recommendations for using templates for descriptions and more!
He gave more great advices which I am already applying such as looking at pull request from different perspective, reviewing your code, how to receive feedback and more. I loved that he mentioned bikeshedding which we definitely need to be careful about. 💡💡

Awesome to see @PeterHilton again after @DevoxxUK last year! Was very curious about his topic because it was about zero-bug policy success. I am always very curious about experiential stories and it gave some great insights. Plus, I've learned about the Joel tests which I didn't know about before. 💡💡
Very good talk (and I loved the analogy about the kitchen), and it s very interesting to know how "fix it now or delete it" works with bugs in practice. 💡

I was curious to see @dev_lagarde talk about frontend monitoring considering how much effort we put inside of my talk and it was so interesting 🙌🙌 I didn't work with Open Telemetry much, so it was really great to hear more about it 💡💡I think that it could be interesting to try it out! @DevoxxUK #conference #frontend #monitoring #observability

Really liked this insightful @DevoxxUK talk by Alvaro Berruga that shows what's new in EcmaScript specification for JS, what may be coming in the future, and what are the pain points for developers right now. I like that the talk is beginner enough for people not familiar with the whole concept in general, but insightful enough for more advanced people. 🙌
I especially liked hearing about new Set methods, Promise.try, Temporal API, and JS0 & JSSugar. 💡💡 Definitely great talk I recommend to anyone working with JS or Typescript! 🙌🙌 @DevoxxUK #DevoxxUK #conference #javascript #ecmascript

Excited to see my friend @trisha_gee at @DevoxxUK again after last year! Her talk about learning, change and inspiration was very insightful - we all should start small, choose where to spend our energy, focus on why, talk the business language, and experiment! 💡
Some great notes:
* In modern office, we rely on stress by default. Then we say no to stuff and we are too buy to make new changes.
* Change is hard.
* The ability to experiment is a critical part of innovation and creating business value.
* The only way to win? Be faster than everyone else. 🙏

I love Disney, especially as a speaker, I think that we need to be creative. So I was excited to hear the talk from @mseckington about Disney Driven Development and how to make for team the best one you have ever worked with.
I liked hearing about the lessons we should take as: Shape the environment, Design the journey, Create awe and wonder, Craft moments to remember. My favorite quote: Do what you do so well, so that they will dealt to see it again and bring their friends. 💡

Hi all, it's been a while!! ☺️ After a break, I'm back and excited to speak at @DevoxxUK again! 🙌
This time, I'm talking about #accessibility and #empathy from a very different perspective. I hope that you'll join me for this exciting #web #development talk! 😊 Check here for more info about my talk (a little sneak peek before my blog post next week): bit.ly/ante-blog-look…
I feel excited about everything coming and I've completely recharged, so I'm really looking forward to the conference and my talk! ✨✨
As humans, we should question everything. It's not just about following what's technically possible when showing things - it's about understanding how e.g. your customers will explore the museum and what will help them find their way easily. So, in my talk, we'll explore what role empathy plays in development. 🔍💡
I'm excited to see everyone, make new colleague friends and colleagues, and catch up with ones I already know! 🌟 @kevindubois @trisha_gee @CarlyLRichmond @guyroyse @chwoerz and more! #conference #speaker #a11y #Disability

I don’t know a bunch of you on this platform personally so I tend to be more context-appropriate on the wider internet.
When I feel comfortable with people in person, I tend to be appropriate to *that* context. Some people would find things I say in that context problematic, but these people likely just don’t know me well enough.
Ultimately I just find so much peace in knowing a couple things:
1. I *never* have malicious intent.
2. Inasmuch as I am able, my highest priority is to honor people.
3. As a consequence of being a fallible human, I will likely mess it up sometimes.
4. Some folks will hate and abandon, others will stay and teach.
5. Provided one remains sane, time will heal.
I wonder when something I say will get me canceled. I’m sure it’ll happen eventually. Or maybe not, I’m probably not that prominent/noticeable anyway.
Random rant thanks to some nice conversations with conference friends.
Appreciate you all!
