Funfact: According to Sripada Sri Vallabha Charitaamrutham (Telugu) written by Sankara Bhattu of the 14th century, the Namboodiri Brahmins migrated to Kerala from a big agrahaaram village called Nambooru in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh on a special invitation from the King of Kerala. They were at first called Namboori Brahmins after their original domicile. It appears that the appellation somehow changed to Namboodiri in course of time.

Nambuthiri Brahmin is a psyop. No one has seen one in real.

@pramodrama One is an idiot if he/she thinks worshipping some certain devi-devta will make him/her weak, pacifist or worshipping a devi will make him emasculated. Both your argument & the replies contribute to nothing meaningful. Each & every deity is equally powerful

@narayannat @rpraggnachess Those are Islamic republics, India is a democracy. Most sports don’t allow wearing religious symbols. Have you ever seen any Muslim player anywhere in the world play with the Taqiyah ?

@rpraggnachess Please don’t mix religion into sports. You can practice religion in your home. But you don’t have to wear that thing when you are playing for India.

Telugus, throughout most of their history, worshipped folk deities and Shiva. Most of the OG Telugu kingdoms (Telangana) revered Shaivism & folk deities. Vaishnavism, which spread through Brahmins (post 1200 CE), wiped out folk deities (esp in Andhra) and Shiva worship.

@Su4ita @THRIndia_ I think it's very odd and borderline cringe to write such captions for yourself.
