The price of foreign, imported "goods" hasn't "skyrocketed" as you claim. The reason for the tariffs is the same reason it's always been. Except Trump is making them pay their fair share in RECIPRICOL tariffs. Do you know what that means? It means that money goes directly to the US Treasury, instead of being laundered through the corrupt IRS and multiple NGOs. Nowhere in that post did he ever say it was "guaranteed", nor was there ever a ETA suggested, at least not in the "now" or immediate future. Perhaps it may be something he is planning for in the future, after we see the results of the tariffs in 2-3 years time, but really? You expected a check already?
