In the 1970s, my gran had a South African bank account where she would deposit R10 every month. In the 1980s, she increased this to R20, and by the 1990s, she was putting in R50 monthly. She was a housewife who saved what was left from the monthly grocery budget. In 2005, her living partner passed away, and she began developing Alzheimer's. My mom, while clearing my gran's financial obligations in 2009, discovered numerous warning letters from the bank because the account had a negative balance. After saving thousands of Rands over more than 30 years, my gran ended up owing the bank. This was due to various fees: Printed Statements, SMS Balance notifications, Monthly Bank Fees, and others, which essentially expropriated her savings. *From the 1970s up to the 1990s, the South African Rand was stronger than the US Dollar, with an exchange rate of almost $5 to R1. However, by 2024, the exchange rate has significantly changed, with 1 USD equalling approximately 19 ZAR.

Inflation is the root cause of just about every economic problem we have today. Even if you're saving as much as you can today, inflation will make you broke in 30 years. What will that do to you as a person? It will make you feel like you are the problem. It will make you think your efforts were not adequate. It will make you feel like the companies raising prices are the ones making you broke. It will make you miserable, and it will make you hate life. The reality is that your government is taking your money and gaslighting you into believing that they are not to blame. They are funding wars by extracting value from everyone's savings. Real estate investors want to enjoy life while holding on to their assets forever But you can't "have your cake and eat it too" The current system is designed to concentrate wealth among a small group of people by allowing asset holders to borrow money that can be created out of nothing It gives people the power to NEVER have to sell their assets Bitcoin fixes this Not only will Bitcoin transfer wealth from all legacy assets to Bitcoin holders But it will also bring the prices of homes to their utility value and rent costs down SIGNIFICANTLY, making housing available to more people In terms of fiat, real estate investors think they're ahead because the fiat currency financial system is built to manipulate you to think so Eg. Inflation is shown as 3% when its actually 7%+

@BigDaddyLiberty AmaZulu made a huge mistake trusting the ANC post 1994. But then again it would've meant civil war which would subsequently be blamed on us, Zulus.

There are few things more dangerous to political-elites than a citizen who is keen to think for themselves and be self-reliant. Such people progressively drop their reliance (and gradually even their compliance) on government & politicians. The Afrikaners are an apt example of this. I’d like fellow Zulus to adopt this ethos too! If the state cannot be reformed, and I’ll play my part to try, then it must be bypassed.
