Now, the AVATAR therapy is being culturally adapted for India and Ethiopia in testing phase. Dr. Thomas Edward with his team is leading this research in UK, India and Ethiopia

#AvatarTherapy is a digital intervention where patients create a visual representation of their distressing internal "voices" to engage in controlled, face-to-face dialogue. This method empowers patients to assert authority over hallucinations, transitioning the avatar.

Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi, is hosting its first annual technical bonanza Astraaya 1.0, organized by the IEEE Student Branch, on 8th and 9th April 2026. The event brings together six flagship competitions across AI, Robotics, Coding, Embedded Systems, Sustainability, and Entrepreneurship, along with keynote speaker sessions and hands-on learning experiences, creating a dynamic platform for innovation, collaboration, and real-world problem solving.
