i've never seen so much apple glaze as while trying to look for a windows laptop. the one time i actually want people to ignore mac, suddenly its the solution to every problem. not that i disagree with that, but it makes it really difficult to look for windows stuff

i do love a good clown on ai in gaming. just to be clear, the comparison here isnt even real. in the article that bottom image is described as their "vision" with the actual results being not only even worse slop than that slop but not real time. so even those dont exist

i dont think enough emphasis is put on the importance of creation. shakespeare couldnt even write his name right and yet just because he did so much writing everyone knows who he is. modern creators like toby fox or smth will likely be regarded the same way one day, i think

i was working on an idea that came to me after that jonny razer game jam "outside of the box" of a roguelike/lite about being a delivery driver opening people's packages in order to get upgrades, presumably in some kind of apocalypse since opening people's mail is illegal

i have 2 installations of blender for old plugins but the one i dont generally want is just named blender 2 so when i open it by search (the best way) theres a 50% chance i get the one which sucks and will make the one i want take way longer to startup next time

watching a video on metric modulation in music (when the beat changes) and one of the examples was from a rhythm game. its so cruel but also way cooler than those kinds of games just spamming more notes

i decided to try something weird and mash together take five and golden brown because they both have the first 3 beats the same kind of syncopated thing and it took me way too long to realise that a bar of 5 + 3 + 4 is just 3 bars of 4 so its not interesting at all

idk if its correct to think like this, but it makes a lot of sense to me if i think of the dorian mode as the relative minor of lydian. they share all the same notes only with the same relation that major scales share with their relative minor so i dont see why not
