If you’re wondering how lifting 3x a week transformed his body more than lifting 6x a week, here’s why: Muscles don’t grow when you train. They grow when you rest. Rest days allow your muscles to repair and come back stronger, which is what makes your body look better over time. Without enough rest, muscles don’t fully recover: 1. progress becomes slower 2. you feel tired more often 3. your body looks the same despite training Rest is part of the process. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do for your body is nothing.
