Thanks for the input 🙏 For now, I’ll keep it simple and explore stamps as a lightweight way to mark events. Habit tracking feels like a different layer, so I’ll look into that separately.

Considering adding a "stamp" feature. Right now, it's a simple way to mark events. But I'm wondering… Should it evolve into something more like habit tracking? Trying to find the right balance. Feels like going too far might break its simplicity… (added a poll below 👇)

Delete shortcuts are now supported too. On Mac, use ⌘delete. On Windows and other platforms, use Ctrl+Backspace/Delete. We’ll keep improving AnuCal to make entering your schedule a little more comfortable every day.

We’ve made AnuCal easier to use when adding events one after another. You can now duplicate an event directly from the event details screen with a single tap. Keyboard shortcut support is also available: ⌘D / Ctrl+D

We’re updating how the AnuCal free plan works. The free plan will expand to 30 events / 5 categories, and dark mode and fiscal year settings will become available to everyone. At the same time, the print layout will remain available only on Premium. Starting on April 1, 2026 (UTC), free calendars over the limit will become read-only. People affected by this change will also be notified by email.

We’ve been shipping a lot of major features lately, but we’re also making steady UI/UX improvements. We just cleaned up the calendar interaction rules: • Click a date → see that day’s events (blue outline) • Click an empty cell → start a new event (green outline) • Drag across dates → create a multi-day event (green outline) Also: • Close the right sidebar by clicking outside the calendar cells or pressing Esc • Create an event by typing a title and hitting Enter The goal is simple: less confusion, more flow ✨

Multiple Calendars × Sharing × Public Access × Plan Design The scope of what we need to think through has expanded all at once. This isn’t just another iteration — it’s a different level of design work. The upcoming “Multiple Calendars” release may look like a small feature on the surface. No more re-selecting the same category when you're adding multiple events for "Work" or "Study" in a row! 2️⃣ Safe Category Deletion You can now move events to another category when deleting a category. Perfect for reorganizing your setup while keeping your past logs intact. 3️⃣ Fixed Display Issues We've fixed an issue where some categories disappeared due to our recent server migration.
