High in the silence of the Himalayas, Shiva sat in deep meditation. The world below was in chaos, and the gods sought his help. But Shiva remained still unmoved, detached. Only when a humble devotee, with pure heart and no desire, called out to him did Shiva open his eyes. In that moment, he restored balance, reminding all that true devotion not power or fear reaches the divine.
Sanskrit verse :
ध्यानमूलं गुरोर्मूर्तिः पूजामूलं गुरोः पदम् ।
मन्त्र मूलं गुरोर्वाक्यं मोक्षमूलं गुरोः कृपा ॥
Meaning :
The root of meditation is the Guru’s form, the root of worship is the Guru’s feet, the root of mantra is the Guru’s word, and the root of liberation is the Guru’s grace.
