@comedy4cast It always seems perfectly reasonable to me. Pay if you don’t want ads. If you don’t want to pay, get ads. It’s worked everywhere forever.

The other streaming services laughed at ad-supported tiers that Hulu and Paramount+ have had since day one. Yet, suddenly, a lot of them seem to want to hop on board. It's the way TV worked for decades. So why not at least offer the option? Those who don't want it can trade up.

While recovering from spine surgery I've been forced to not do some of my OCD rituals because I physically can't. It's been unsettling not to do them, especially at first, but it's also been a revelation that it's possible to just stop when there's little other option.
