Our #Journeyman minister kaaa? 😅
Hon. @PaulMavima out in the fields posing with a whole bucket of maize cobs he claims he personally harvested. Tsitsitsitsitsitsi 🤣🤣😂
How many takes did it take before settling for this snapshot, Minister?
That hoe looks like it only touched the soil for the photo op.
All the same , the vibe is vibing. 🇿🇼🌽😂

Prof. Paul Mavima@ProfPMavima
I spent my Saturday in Mateta, Gokwe South, reconnecting with our people and taking part in the everyday work that sustains our communities. Harvesting a few maize cobs reminded me once again of the resilience, hard work, and determination that define Zimbabweans. I remain committed to building a nation where every community — rural or urban — is empowered with the skills and opportunities needed to grow. From the people, to the people — we build Zimbabwe together. 🌽🇿🇼

‼️ : THE MBARE SEED SCAM
A dangerous scam has been uncovered in Mbare, where fraudsters are repackaging and painting ordinary grain to fraudulently present it as high-quality, treated seeds.
How the Scam Works:
1. The Deception: Scammers take cheap, untreated grain meant for consumption.
2. The Packaging: They dye or paint the grain and package it in counterfeit bags designed to look like those from reputable seed companies.
3. The Target: The primary victims are farmers from rural areas who come to Harare to buy supplies. Trusting the packaging, they purchase what they believe is certified seed.
The Devastating Consequences:
· Financial Ruin: Farmers are cheated out of their hard-earned money, paying a premium for worthless grain.
· Wasted Labor: They invest immense time and effort in sowing seeds that are doomed to fail.
· Crop Failure: The "seeds" often never germinate. If they do, the plants suffer from stunted growth and produce a pathetic, negligible yield.
· Food Insecurity: This scam directly threatens the food supply and economic stability of vulnerable families for the entire season.
This isn't just theft; it's a form of economic sabotage that destroys livelihoods. The cruelty and calculated nature of this deception make it feel like a modern form of #Witchcraft, preying on the hope and hard work of Zimbabwe's farmers.
