@cecilford20 Imagine being that dense...AVP was not calling plays. Nice narrative though.

Seems a no-brainer addition to Browns QB room.
Ian Rapoport@RapSheet

The #Patriots are planning to release backup QB Josh Dobbs, sources say, after the being unable to find a trade partner. Dobbs is now slated to be free.

@pontiac52 @ChrisFedor No, don't need him scoring 30 plus. Need him to be the defensive player of the year he's supposed to be. Need him to act his size and athleticism and quit getting pushed around and to make some damn free throws.

@ChrisFedor Everyone wants Mobley to score 30ppg, but on this team with Mitchell, Harden, Allen etc there aren’t enough shots to go around. With THIS team, at best he’s a 19-9-2 guy, which is fine. Besides, he really hasn’t been healthy all season. Some of you need to get off his back!!

Mobley did have 24 points & 8 rebounds against Boston. He went for 23 points & 12 boards vs. Detroit. Then there was a 29 & 8 night vs Toronto. He has had too many clunkers and his season has been mostly below standard. But we can’t pretend he only plays well vs bad teams.
Casey Wise@fusion27

@ChrisFedor He's gotta perform this way against a good team.

@ChrisFedor I don't think anyone is pretending. We have eyes. I don't need the damn stats to see him getting pushed around and not living up to his potential.

@RapSheet @MikeGarafolo "Ford leaves Cleveland… and the Browns still somehow think they’re contenders. Maybe they’re just building a highlight reel of players who actually want to win elsewhere."

It’s been made clear by multiple people around the NFL at all levels that Baltimore had all the information and understood where Maxx Crosby’s knee was in terms of his recovery timeline. Many in the league believe GM Eric DeCosta and the Ravens ultimately just got cold feet.

@voltixftw @JackDuffin He clearly needs that money immediately vs post June, they need it for flexibility. Doesn't matter, he was getting cut regardless. Pennies in the scheme of things and he was an absolute waste.

#Browns currently have $1.9m of cap space. Once we get Howard’s extension that’s going to be around $12m gained Ward restructure $12.48m Takes then north of $26m in cap space

Breaking: The #Raiders can’t afford to take Maxx Crosby back with the players they verbally agreed to terms with. They may have to back out of contracts if they are unable to find a trade partner quickly. Unbelievable.

@C_HANN_ING I mean, don't listen to him? It's not that hard to be honest. And who the hell listens to Cleveland Sports talk anyway? They've all been doing it forever, they're all grouchy and beat down. It was a prized job once. Now YouTubers and tiktok influencers are more relevant.

🚨REPORT: Myles Garrett to Patriots? Per Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport: Browns could ship EDGE Myles Garrett to NE for 2026 1st (#31), 3rd (#95), plus 2027 1st. Pats would assume his contract (through 2030, $40M AAV): 2026 cap hit ~$24M, cash payout $32M. Would you pull the trigger for the star pass-rusher?

Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report suggested the Browns could be involved in a blockbuster trade that would send Myles Garrett to the New England Patriots for a 1st-round pick (No. 31) and a 3rd-round pick (No. 95) in 2026, and a 1st-round pick in 2027. "A team would have to meet certain requirements to make mortgaging its future in a Garrett trade palatable. First off, the team needs to have legitimate Super Bowl aspirations. Given that the New England Patriots just lost Super Bowl LX to the Seattle Seahawks, they clearly fit the bill there. The Patriots also have a need on the edge of the defensive line. With nearly $44 million in cap space, the Patriots also have the financial resources to absorb Garrett's contract. Making this sort of blockbuster would mean the Patriots are pushing all their chips into the center of the table. Garrett would make an already stout New England defense that much more formidable."
