Done watching S8. Mixed feelings. The scale has gone up, but I miss when tension & cliffhangers felt earned, driven by character & choices, not just placed for impact. Also missed seeing Tim & Lucy as the sharp, driven officers they are, especially in their new roles. #TheRookie

Eric & Melissa are fantastic, which makes me want to see them fully in action, individually & together. Also felt like the #Chenford arc could’ve used a bit more nuance towards the end. Hoping S9 leans back into grounded, character-led storytelling. The potential is all there tbh
