If the US and the EU can together do more sanctions, secondary tariffs on countries that buy Russian oil, the Russian economy will collapse and Putin will have to come to the table', US treasury secretary Scott Bessent tells CNBC.

Instead of hanging your head in shame that 415 million people in India survive on $3.10/day, you brag about being the world’s 4th largest economy. Shame on you.

why does IndiaTV need to resort to these bizarre theatrics during a tragedy? What is this doodling random nonsense, throwing in awkward silences, dragging every moment like some suspense thriller? could’ve just PTC-ed the damn story like a profesh. instead we get a circus act

The #PahalgamTerroristAttack in Kashmir has rightly jolted the nation. But can we allow emotion to trample over reason? Yes, the terrorists reportedly asked for the victim’s religion before pulling the trigger. But let us not forget—at least one very brave Muslim man who tried to protect the tourists was killed too. And time and again, in terror strikes across India (remember 26/11?) both Hindus AND Muslims AND people from other faiths have been slaughtered—without discrimination. Terrorism has no religion. Only propaganda does. So let’s cut the filth—this is not a “Muslim attacks Hindu” issue. That narrative is cheap. It is vile. It is bigoted. And it is DISHONEST. And if that’s the yardstick one wants to use, then what about the RPF constable Chetan Singh Chaudhary who hunted bearded men on a moving train , made them chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’, and murdered them in cold blood? Do such arguments stop anywhere? This aftermath of this latest attack lays bare how sick our society has become, where bigotry has become instinctive. A country where the government stokes communal fires with impunity and where the media happily dances in the flames. This isn’t a “clever” strategy anymore. The moral decay is so widespread, the majority now cheers propaganda over truth and seeks vengeance instead of accountability. Ask yourself this, if you still are not blinded with hate for a particular community—why haven’t the usual right-wing loudspeakers demanded answers from the Prime Minister or the Home Minister—the men DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for Kashmir’s security? The same men who, while revoking Article 370, claimed Kashmir will be terror free? Because these loudspeakers were NEVER after justice for anyone. They were after political capital. They are silent, because the hate they peddle has always been selective and self-serving. They ARE the original enemies of the country, conveniently masquerading as “journalists”, “experts”, “commentators”, and what not. Forget the above, answer this: did these folks ask even a SINGLE question about what was done after Pulwama? Zero. If you can’t see through that, then perhaps you never wanted to. So hold those in power accountable. Not fuel bigoted, cheap Hindu-Muslim agenda. If our grief is real, we must demand real answers. Not just outrage theatre on WhatsApp and Twitter. This is the logical next. But if one has chosen to abandon the logic and wear bigotry like a badge, there’s not much anyone can do. You can wake someone who’s asleep. You can’t wake someone pretending to be asleep. And today, far too many are snoring—with their eyes wide open.

this low-order thinking that Pahalgam is a religious issue—just another reason for godi and bought-out hindu zealots like Arnab Goswami to target muslims in India—is basically what’s killing us. the brits divided and ruled us in the 1800s, it’s the same shit, different day.

no accountability for the fact that the indian govt hasn’t managed to move beyond slogans and propaganda to actually address security issues in the region. zero vitriol for how local intelligence in kashmir has been ignored and sidelined.

absolutely sick how mainstream indian media has managed to turn yet another tragedy into religious propaganda. arnab goswami’s calling for an “israel-like solution” for kashmir, but doesn’t bother pointing out the serious security lapses in Kashmir…

no prescriptions needed. no questions asked. we were simply issued a prescription without consultation. healthcare in india is beyond broken and no amount of tech is going to fix it unless it’s married with serious, corruptless (LOL) regulatory oversight.

i mean i remember there was a time we were discussing stories about how pharmeasy and other telemed platforms were writing bogus prescriptions for schedule H drugs without ever bothering to diagnose — we tested this and were so easily able to buy addwize off of tata 1mg

interesting take on why telemedicine failed in india. serious trust deficit and our general la-di-da attitude towards drugs aside, i don’t get how people are okay being diagnosed over the phone?? like you’re not ordering a pizza, get up and go see a doc
Dilip Kumar@kmr_dilip

In the last decade, over 50+ telemedicine startups in India raised more than $2 billion and most have shut down. The pitch was- India has too few doctors, too many patients, and a broken healthcare system. Technology would fix it. But it didn’t. Here’s a breakdown.
