One month ago today I tried to end my life. Every day since, I’ve had to battle against my brain & somehow keep moving forward… So taking part in a race today, and getting this medal, feels like a massive achievement ❤️

Today is #WorldCancerDay2025 . Today we come together to recognise the impact of a cancer diagnosis. 💚We are proud to be supporting cancer clinical trials and research studies at @Gateshead_NHS to improve cancer care now and in the future.

Today we've launched a new requirement that all applicants must demonstrate how their research will address existing inequalities in health and social care as a condition of funding. Applicants will now be required to show how inclusion is being built into all stages of the research lifecycle. nihr.ac.uk/news/inclusion…

Yesterday @QehYvonnem @Beverleymcclel3 and the team delivered an introduction to research session to the @PharmacyQeh team and the feedback was fantastic.

Its #NationalPathologyWeek and the theme this year is #PathologyisVital - Pathology is vital to research, from diagnosis to treatment to screening and prevention, research studies would not be possible without our fantastic pathology teams 👏👏👏@Gateshead_NHS
