Kyjiw soll also Rücksicht auf unsere Tankrechnung nehmen. Vier Jahre Krieg, Tausende Tote – aber bitte für uns keine Unannehmlichkeiten an der Zapfsäule.

Madness.
Allies are asking Ukraine to curb its attacks on Russian refineries, — Budanov.
According to him, the requests are coming from several countries, but he didn't name any specific ones. He also didn't specify whether Ukraine will change its attack tactics.
I don't want to be European anymore.

Wilberforce told her to wait. 🇬🇧
Eight hundred thousand people didn't have time to wait.
Her name was Elizabeth Heyrick. A Quaker from Leicester. In 1824 she published a pamphlet. Immediate, Not Gradual Abolition. Then she went door to door through Leicester visiting every grocer.
Within a year a quarter of the city had stopped buying slave-grown sugar.
Wilberforce tried to suppress her pamphlet. He told the movement not to speak at women's meetings.
The women's societies were supplying a fifth of all the movement's funding.
In 1830 the Anti-Slavery Society voted for immediate abolition. Frederick Douglass called her the first to demand it.
She died in 1831. Two years before the Act passed.
Her name is not on the monument. 🇬🇧

If you look back to when NAFO Asia Pacific Regiment was founded in August 2022
- we thought that Russia's invasion of Ukraine was wrong;
- we had no idea what we were doing on Twitter; and
- we just wanted to help Ukraine
From little things big things grow. We probably need to update our 2023 team photo.

Right then.
Let me explain something very slowly, because it appears some basic logic has gone missing somewhere over the Atlantic.
No serious nation in the history of warfare has spent fourteen months insulting its allies, threatening to annex their territory, siding with their common enemy, and then knocked on their door expecting them to come running to rescue a catastrophe of its own making. That is not how alliances work. That is not how anything works.
You abused the UK. You threatened Canada. You tried to grab Greenland. You called the EU an adversary. You praised Putin, the one man every serious NATO ally has spent decades preparing to fight. You hosted Kremlin officials in the Capitol. You undermined European elections. You abandoned Ukraine. You imposed tariffs on your closest partners. You did all of this loudly, proudly, and on camera.
And now you are surprised that nobody is returning your calls.
Here is a question worth sitting with. Why do you think that is? Is it possible, just possible, that when you treat your allies like enemies for over a year while cuddling up to their actual enemy, those allies might update their opinion of you? Is that concept too complicated? Does that require more working memory than is currently available?
You did not plan this war with your allies. You did not consult them. You did not build a coalition. You started a conflict, watched it go sideways, and then got on your knees asking for help from people you spent fourteen months calling weak, corrupt and irrelevant.
NATO is not what it was. Not because Europe changed. Because Washington made crystal clear which side it is on. And it is not ours.
You want European boots on the ground? Start by explaining why America is more aligned with Moscow than with Brussels. Take your time. We will wait.

I love and support Ukraine not only because it is my country and my people.
Not because we are so perfect and good.
Ukraine has as many internal problems as other countries, and in some areas, perhaps even more.
And yes, we have all kinds of people, there are good and bad, there are those who do good, but, unfortunately, there are also those who do evil and commit crimes.
Just like in your country, there are such people too.
I support Ukraine because the right to life and to one's own path is not the privilege of "perfect" nations, but a fundamental human right.
No one is less worthy of protection simply because their country has flaws, mistakes, or a difficult history.
If that were true, no country in the world would have the right to exist. Because no one is perfect or free from imperfections.
Supporting Ukraine means refusing to accept violence and aggression as the norm. This is a rejection of the logic that someone has the right to destroy others simply because they feel like it. Today, it's Ukraine.
Tomorrow, with this approach, it could be anyone.
And that's the point. Not idealization.
Not slogans. But a simple moral choice: side with those defending their home, or turn a blind eye to evil until it knocks on your door.
Truth requires no justification. You don't need to be an expert to see the difference between those who defend themselves and those who come to kill, destroy, and erase the identity of others.
When cities, hospitals, schools, and homes are bombed, it's no longer a "complex conflict" but an obvious crime.
Supporting Ukraine is about memory. About respect for the lessons of history, which have cost humanity too dearly.
Every time aggression was called "liberation," "historical justice," or "not everything is so clear-cut," these words were followed by mass tragedies.
To ignore this is to knowingly follow the same path.

What did @BBCRadio4 choose to broadcast on Easter morning?
A documentary whitewashing a woman who joined ISIS, giving her half an hour to explain why we shouldn't think badly of her.

Karina Bakhr was 17 years old. She lived in the city of Berehystyn in the Kharkiv region.
The girl was studying to become a physical education teacher and was a member of the "Peresvit" sports club.
Karina was a champion of Ukraine and Europe in kickboxing and Cossack dueling. Strong, resilient, with inner strength, she was used to winning not only in the ring, but also in life.
Outside of training, she was passionate about motorcycles. She was polite, persistent, and always achieved her goals.
The life of 17-year-old Karina Bakhr was taken by a Russian shelling on November 17, 2025. The next day, Karina died in the hospital.
"For us, Karina was a joy and pride, a beloved child. We were very proud of her. For her friends, she was sincere, honest, always the first to help. We will remember her as a cheerful, beautiful, and life-loving girl. She will live in our hearts. It hurts us so much without her, and this pain will stay with us forever," said her parents.

Now where would Hezbollah be getting fiber-optic FPV drones from?
OSINTtechnical@Osinttechnical
Hezbollah continues to use fiber-optic FPV attack drones to target Israeli armor in southern Lebanon. Seen here, a pair of FPV strikes that hit Israeli Merkava Mk.4 MBTs. First one hits one of the tanks in its track, while the second hits the heavily armored turret front.
