@apocryphaI u know what, when i read it i didn't get the hype, but after a few months i realized quotes from this kept coming to me bc it really is beautifully written. i think it's good if u read it as poetry-prose rather than a novel with an actual plot. sci-fi for poets

dropped a cool almost £300 at the vets over the last few weeks to check out all of those things (more than £1 per gram of rat!) and she’s completely fine. we’ve had three very sturdy rats die basically because the wind changed direction and yet THIS creature persists
