as many of you know, for [eyeblack] I've been examining how sports leagues handle allegations of violence against women. I want to share a recording I obtained that, if true, is I believe very rare and very revealing This an alleged call between MLB's EVP of Investigations Moira Weinberg—one of the highest ranked executives in Rob Manfred's commissioner's office—and a woman who accused a veteran baseball player she said choked her, slapped her, and locked her and their child out of their home. I’ve actually gained a significant amount of weight compared to when I started! I’ve focused on muscle building as I get older. I don’t think you meant anything personally negative here, and the industry pressures are certainly worth more conversation. But we don’t know and can’t assume anyone’s health journey/goals/challenges until we’ve walked in their shoes. ❤️
