This was my first time presenting a lay poster together with an academic poster at a conference. Such a great idea! I hope more conferences will take the inspiration from #Cilia2024 and integrate patient-oriented sessions.

Huge thanks to the organising committee of #Cilia2024 for awarding me a travel grant and selecting my first ever lay poster for a prize. I had a total blast. Can't wait for the next one!

Today is #worldmentalhealthday and #mentalhealth is a topic close to the heart for the bi+ community. Bi people face higher risks of struggling with mental health conditions... and yet when accessing medical care, 48% of bisexuals face biphobic comments from those meant to help.

Fully-funded PhD Studentship in the Tanos Laboratory to study Cilia and Ciliary Signaling in Polycystic Kidney Disease. Based in the College of Health Medicine and Life Sciences at Brunel University London and funded by Kidney Research UK. Preferred start: January 2024.
