今朝のJ-WAVE「Step One」でブライアン・イーノが主催したパレスチナのためにチャリティーコンサート「Together For Palestine」が紹介されてました。ノイハウス萌菜さん「ブライアン・イーノの呼びかけにより発足したロンドン最大のパレスチナ関連のチャリティイベントTogether For Palestine。これが日本時間の今朝2時からだったので初めからは見られなかったんですけれども、朝起きた時、6時頃にもまだやっていました。売り上げのすべてがパレスチナの方々への支援に使われるということで、たくさんのアーティストたちが今回タッグを組んで行われたイベントなんです。例えばブラーのデーモン・アルバーン、ジェームス・ブレイク、キング・クルール、ピンクパンサラス、リナ・サワヤマなど。タイミングとしてはちょうど昨日、国連調査委員会がガザで今行われていることが、ジェノサイド、虐殺行為だということを認定したんですね。今更認定かっていう声も上がる中、新たに社会的な圧力が高まるということは希望があることだと思うので、こういったアーティストが、音楽、アートを通して声を上げること。そして国連、政府が声を上げる、私たちもね。引き続き、これがおかしいことであって加担してはいけないということを訴え続けないと終わらないのかなということも感じます。今おかけしたジェイミー・エックス・エックスのパフォーマンスなども含め、動画がSNSに上がってます」。ラジオってニュース以外でガザのことが話題になるなんて滅多にないけど、ノイハウスさんは先日もグレタさんのパレスチナ支援船団のことを話してくれました。人類史に残る残虐なことが現在進行形で起きてるいま、常に話題にしていく、ジェノサイド反対の声を上げることが大事だと思います。@stepone813
