If I die young, Without ever being able to publish a book, Without seeing the face my verses make in print, I ask only that, if you choose to be vexed on my behalf, Then don’t be vexed. If that is what happened, that is what’s right

Before I knew you I loved Nature the way a serene monk loves Christ… Now I love Nature The way a serene monk loves the Virgin Mary

To think a flower is to see it and smell it And to eat a fruit is to know its meaning.

Only nature is divine, and she isn’t divine… If I sometimes speak of her as a living being It’s because to speak of her I have to use human language Which gives personality to things And imposes names on things

Why have a piano? Far better to have ears And to hear clearly the sounds as they’re born

If you make a memecoin of a real startup, and the startup itself fails tomorrow, you still have the same asset. Because the memecoin still exists and is in limited supply just as before. Nothing has changed. What memecoins are doing to the concept of asset, few understand.

@Ashwinreads *all?* mysticism aims to make thought a tool rather than a mode of being. action flows effortlessly, spontaneously, unrestricted

i should ofc add that you should act, but have no desire to obtain the fruits of that action. karma yoga is also true.

dostoevsky's notes from underground basically showed me that hyperconsciousness is a burden because it breeds paralysis. dostoevksy says the intelligent, thinking man will drown in endless analysis of causes, motives, consequences. threats. dissecting every possible meaning until action becomes impossible. the simple man, however, acts freely and decisively. unburdened by his consciousness and takes things at face value. the simple man just does things. while the intelligent man thinks about doing things. one ends up with a lesson, the other with resentment. this is really a pivotal book for understanding action.

the IQ test with AI is whether or not you look at it and are immensely excited by all its possibilities or if you are running scared and complaining that it is going to 'replace you'
