@janvbear I think this depends. People own mass amounts amounts of food that nobody eats; it is not well taken care of by being thrown out. The earth is being pillaged and polluted at the alter of private property because people “own” it.

@janvbear the immediate goal of the communists: the abolition of private property is not only still desirable, but quite attainable. and even things only achievable under fellowship with God should remain the political outlook of Christians.

@janvbear but private property (as narrowly defined by Marx) is about as unnatural as one can get in some sense. it betrays how communized production processes are and requires strict maintenance under political power.
