Time for some reflection It’s safe to say that 2025 was my breakout year. I achieved things I wouldn’t have thought possible at the beginning of the year. $𝟏𝟕𝟏,𝟓𝟐𝟓.𝟗𝟖 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬. 𝟔𝟎 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥. I’m happy with the result - even though I know there was more on the table. But this year wasn’t about chasing the big numbers. It was about building a solid foundation, as it was my first real year of full-time trading (since Feb). I’ve experienced firsthand how pressure can get to your head if you can’t control yourself. Low risk. Most funded accounts held for a long time, some still active. Consistent payouts. (I’ve just added a few random payout certificates as visuals) Grateful for everyone who supported the journey. Onto the next chapter.

If I could send one message to the version of me sitting in that small room, staring at a chart he didn't yet understand, I wouldn't tell him about the nice apartment or car. I wouldn't show him the funded accounts or the withdrawals. I'd tell him this: "You're closer than you think. Not to the money, that's far. But to the version of you that can actually hold it when it comes. The losses you're taking right now aren't wasting your time. They're building the only foundation that can bear the weight of what's coming. The nights you want to quit are the nights that give you the greatest realisations. Keep showing up. Keep being honest. Keep closing the screen when your rules say to, even when your mind screams to keep clicking. You don't need a better strategy. You need a stronger self. And that self is being forged right now, in the discomfort you're trying so hard to escape. Don't leave the room yet. You might not understand fully what I'm trying to say now, but soon you will. The rest is just candles and Time."

Worst trading day I've had in a long time. Technically closed green, but this wasn't about the number. My setup triggered, I took a short. Closed it while it was still playing out. Took a long instead, closed that to go short again, closed that too, then flipped long. All while scrolling X and seeing payouts, passed challenges, wins everywhere, feeling like I had to rush and pass challenges to make payouts too. Thankfully just ended with a loss only slightly bigger than my normal, not blown account. But I know exactly why it happened, I fell for social media. Should have shut the charts right there. Instead I took one more trade to end the day green. Screen says win. Process says loss. I know which one actually matters. in the end we move and learn.

@apparentlytrder @AlphaCapitalUK Appreciate the insight. Consistency outside of trading seems to be just as important as consistency on the charts. Keep pushing my friend💪

I bet most traders won't post this, but I will because I have to hold myself accountable. I'm not used to losing. Since November, I've made over $150,000 in prop firm payouts, and I've been on a serious hot streak. The last two weeks, though, I've been absolutely getting cooked. What has that done to me mentally? It's definitely caused me to tilt and spend way more than I should on evals trying to get back to where I was. That's not how I trade, and it's not who I want to be. So I'm slowing down, getting back to my process, and focusing on execution instead of chasing results. I'm sharing this because I believe transparency matters.
