Over the past few days, I've been thinking a lot about where meme coins are heading.
Most meme coins launch with the same formula: a funny character, a community, and hope that attention is enough to keep things alive.
I wanted to build something that fits the direction I believe Robinhood Chain is taking.
Robinhood isn't just a brokerage anymore. With Robinhood Chain, the focus is shifting toward bringing real-world assets on-chain and making them accessible in entirely new ways.
That got me thinking...
What if a meme coin could be more than just a meme?
That's why I created Apple Cat.
A simple idea inspired by Robin Hood: take from Wall Street, give back to the community.
Instead of inventing another complicated utility, Apple Cat uses Flap's Stocks Vault to accumulate tokenized $AAPL stock rewards for holders.
The narrative couldn't feel more natural.
Robin Hood became one of the world's most recognized stock trading platforms.
Apple Cat became the cat that shares Apple.
No fake promises.
No unrealistic roadmap.
Just a strong narrative, a recognizable character, and a product that actually fits the ecosystem it's launching on.
I genuinely believe meme coins built around tokenized real-world assets will become one of the defining narratives on Robinhood Chain.
Apple Cat is my first step in that direction.
Hold the Cat. Earn the Apple.
(Yes, the ticker is intentionally APPLCAT. We had to keep the degen touch.)
