@Rachelfarmer55 I was at a historical talk on Sunday about the Meaford tank range history. Granted it was during the war but some people were kicked off their farms with less than 7 days notice. Some got paid some didn't. The twp lost 25% of its tax base

@WxOntario1 @PetkerFarm You never know. I have been snowed out in Dec and had a big melt first of Jan and combined in beautiful conditions in Mid Jan. I have been around long enough I can say I have harvested something in every month of the year other than June.

In the 1800’s people would tie lanterns to their saddles so they could find their way home at night
I never realized saddle light navigation was around that long ago…😏
