I recently proofread and copy edited this book for reprint. It’s a satirical take on Zambian politicians and our legacy of bad governance. It’s called Ruminations and is written by C. Lumbwe, who was state physician to three sitting presidents. Please read it.

I was so happy when HH won. Little did I know these would be my worst 5 years as a Zambian. Still, I listened to his speeches. Until I could not. Grandiose self-praise. Scolding and labeling citizens. More (fake) promises. Worst of all? Blind and deaf to the suffering masses. 🧵

I met a man. Kansi his trigger word is ‘love.’ I uttered it and whiskey was out of his bag and in his mouth. Said his ex broke his heart last year. Treated him badly, didn’t appreciate his efforts, screamed at him everyday. He’s now succeeding financially and she wants him back.

As someone with oily skin, I’ve had my fair share of acne battles. Last quarter of 2025 I had a terrible breakout that took a toll on my confidence 😫. All I can say is when it comes to acne,pick your fighter wisely. I picked a retinoid and I thank God it worked 😊🥰

@applechews_ I personally believe filth or filthy work environments are a sign of a persons mental health. Things like cleanliness and aesthetics become super secondary to those in survival mode. Their subconscious has engrained it as a luxury and not a necessity.

You need to ask yourselves why these types of Chingola stories like gassing, people turning into cats, private parts going missing etc that lead to violence and murder always happen as we head towards elections. This is also the time we witness a lot of traffic accidents. There's something bigger at play here.
