🚑 EMS Week 🚑 This week, we recognize the firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and healthcare partners who provide emergency medical care every day in our community. Thank you to all EMS professionals for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to serving others.

Recently, Appleton Fire Department members ran our annual Driver Academy. Training like this helps ensure our future Driver/Engineers are prepared to safely and effectively operate the equipment our community relies on every day.

May 15, 2019 - Our brother Mitch Lundgaard was killed in the line of duty. Mitch was treating a patient for a drug overdose. The patient pulled a handgun and began shooting. Mitch was killed by the person he had just saved. He is survived by his wife and three sons. He was 36.

☕Retiree Breakfast Recap 🚒 We hosted our retiree breakfast and had a record turnout with 37 of our 97 retirees joining us! We are grateful for the continued connection with our retirees and appreciate everything they’ve done for our department and community.
