1. prompt for scaffolding, data access primitives, file structures etc first before any code 2. add toolchain restrictions like tsconfig/eslint/ast-grep to restrict bad patterns 3. create a plan 4. ask to spawn 20+ subagents and have each one implement one part of the plan in its own module

Was excited to use @whop for UGC and clipping content rewards. Uploaded my app campaign, funded the account with $2,000, and waited for creators to start making UGC. What I got instead: Over 40 video link submissions across TikTok and Meta in the first 3 days. The result? Most of them were Indian or Pakistani accounts with no relevant geo, even though I selected an English US and Europe audience. About 90% looked like botted views and fake comments just to pass the minimum view requirement and get paid. No real creators, just newly created pages or random pages that post everything and boost with fake views. Very disappointing. Then I tried Methods platform from @instinct_inc , got charged, and realized they do not even have a proper way for brands to sign in to their campaign. Filled out the contact form, got a meeting date and time scheduled, but then no one showed up. Do you guys have the same experience? Is there a better platform with real creators and quality accounts?

About 30% of GPT-5.4 traffic in Codex is going out in /fast mode. It looks like frontier intelligence at 1.5X speed and 2X the price has PMF. What is the highest speed / price ratio that you would be willing to pay for?

@levelsio Haha, it's like a warning label that people voluntarily put on themselves. The [Single] tag is basically the 'Early Access' of the dating market—lots of potential, but high risk. 🤣

@thdxr @luisrudge i use cc/opencode over cursor for cost reasons i also found the plan mode in cursor to be a but buggy where my edits to the markdown file wouldnt persist for some reason. i average 1 - 1.5k in api usage each month but its all in the 200/m claude plan

Harjot Gill@harjotsgill

Aiden - you clearly have no idea about what you are talking about. We have more users than everyone you just mentioned (combined). See aitooltracker.dev Still, I am curious how we can make it simpler and fool proof for indie developers. Maybe simpler controls and a lot of handholding can help.

I just dislike many in West always measuring China with a different ruler than for example Japan If Japan has lights, omg it's soooo futuristic UwU If China has lights, it's a waste of energy, light pollution and unhealthy It's so intellectually dishonest

for stoppr 20% trial to paid ratio + average user staying 2-3 months then unsubscribing => which pushed me to get them taking the annual plan/discounted annual plan as I knew they won't stay for more than 3 months on average. the counter-attack for all th above is building a strong online community to get them to stay longer ps: everything I'm sharing is 100% a skill issue other very successful apps made it work
David Attias@david_attisaas

if you want to make a b2c app targeting young people < 24 years old read this first. you’ll have to make viral content on repeat because 0.1-0.5% of your videos viewers leave social media to check your app on the apple/play stores out of this small cohort you might expect 50/75% of them to download your app provided your app store page doesn’t suck then, out of those some won’t go until the end to see the paywall for stoppr my paywall show rate is 85% then, out of those you’re going to convert some of them for stoppr it was 7% without the trial and 13% once I added the trial offer. by now you should realise the insane amount of videos views you need to get X store page views/Y downloads/A paywalls show rate/B sales minus the apple/google tax and operational fees don’t you think it would be better to make an app or saas charging a much higher price to rich people? I do I don’t have the skills to make a b2c app making me a tons of money. working on making viral content on repeat means for me hire or partner with someone to do it which I did for stoppr giving XX% of the proceeds to someone handling all the content creation and posting process. so again a XX% “tax” because I don’t want to deal with that uncertainty anymore to get viral videos at random times. and even with paid ads with a 2-3X ROAS we have to spend a lot for those 2-3X to bring significant money back. that’s why I’m working on b2b saas now rant “coping” post over
