PRG Golf getting crazy creative with Version 1 Pasatiempo headcovers for Play With Pete Invitational: Pasatiempo. Each player will receive a driver and putter headcover.
Should we go Pasatiempo logo on one and PGAPappas logo on other? Both logos on same headcovers (front and back)? Or Pasatiempo script smaller so Pasa logo fits next to it on front with PGAPappas logo.
And what Union style should we choose? Wax Canvas. Sherpa. Herringbone. Or Linen?

Quick reminder when you’re stocking up for this years golf season…
The golf ball matters more than you would ever imagine.
Here’s why:
The first time we did a big golf ball test we were told by multiple golf ball manufacturers that we only needed to hit a couple balls per brand. They said a robot hitting these golf balls, that all of them would land basically in a bucket. That is how consistent golf balls are.
Boy, were they wrong!
If you believe the golf ball doesn’t matter or that you’re not good enough to buy a good golf ball, you might wanna listen up.
Not only did they NOT land in a bucket, what we saw made all our jaws drop.
We saw golf balls from some of the biggest names in the business and some of the most popular golf balls played in the world fly 40-yards offline.
Yeah, you heard that right. A ball that should’ve flown straight started off that way and then flew 40-yards to the left. And this wasn’t a one time thing. We saw multiple brands fly 20-yards right or 40-yards left.
Think about that for a second.
That means that every bad shot you hit isn’t actually your fault. But it also means you never know what you are gonna get.
There is NO other piece of equipment that we have seen more negatively affect someone’s performance without them ever knowing than the golf ball.
This is why we became so passionate about testing golf balls, because of everything we’ve ever tested, we have never seen something as appalling as what we saw during our first golf ball test.
Anybody can make one golf ball perform well, the key is being able to make 1 million balls and all them perform the same.
Before this ball test, I thought like many other golfers that when you bought a dozen balls, all those 12 balls in a box would perform the same.
After we started cutting these golf balls open to find out what was wrong with them. We found incredibly off-center cores, complete different golf balls on the inside, golf balls with ground up rubber tires, brands that said one name on the ball and were the internal parts of another ball.
Over the last few years, the ball testing we’ve done and ball lab testing has cleaned up a lot of this mess in the industry, that being said, we still see a ton of quality control issues that are 100% affecting your score that you put on your scorecard every single round.
TAKEAWAY: find a golf ball that you trust.
