I got debarred despite maintaining 75%+ attendance throughout the semester. I have proof in the form of a screenshot showing 43/57 in AML. Now it suddenly shows 19/28. AML is a 4-credit course (4 classes/week), so this drop makes no sense.

Its so difficult to study in a private university! @UPESDehradun you can't fix your portal and when it comes to attendance issues you are not ready to listen to students and demand loads of money to clear a back! Its time you hear the students out!!

UPES hear us!!! I have been debarred in all four subjects bcuz of not completing 75% attendance mark. I was sick for more than a month but still manage to attend some classes btw this time and scored decently good in midsems . But medical conditions are a joke to this college.

And so is the economic condition of a student. They are debarring 2000+ students without hearing genuine reasons and charging (15-25k) per subject, yes per subject. I told official, my loan won't be sanctioned from 2nd year, he said drop your admission, can't help. Absolute crap!
