The President of the Commonwealth Association of Architects @Comarchitect and Past President of the Architectural Association of Kenya, Arch @StevenOundo OGW, had the honour of attending the Commonwealth Day Service in London, graced by His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty Queen Camilla.
In his Commonwealth Day message, His Majesty reflected on the importance of unity in a time of global challenges, underscoring the Commonwealth’s shared values of justice, democracy, opportunity, compassion, and mutual respect. He also highlighted the immense potential of the Commonwealth’s youthful population and the urgent responsibility to restore and protect our natural environment.
The Architectural Association of Kenya celebrates this global moment and is proud to see Kenyan leadership contributing to the architectural discourse across the Commonwealth. Inspired by this message, AAK remains committed to promoting excellence in the built environment while advancing architecture’s role in shaping sustainable and inclusive communities.
