The progression of silivas -> moors (what myk did) i dont think is really necessary.

@cameliacrave I mean skinner doesnt seem to even have the technique to do a DLO. Her moors progression was wrong technique wise.
Josc on the other hand just had a mental block on a specific skill. I wouldnt compare the two cases.

EGR instead of CR
Instead of 0.5 CR bonus, using the value of the highest EGR to incentivize difficulty in all EGRs
Dynamic vault D scores based on gradual difficulty (aka difference between vaults not necessarily 0.4)
Vaults judging with 1 playback x1 speed

such a shame zharghanova had to compete bars in the first rotation of sub 1 and didn't make EF at 2003 worlds. cast 1/1 + giant 1.5 + jaeger clear hip 1/1 + bail + clear hip hecht giant 2/1 + gienger full out entire routine was a highlight.

Each round a new pair of gymnasts competes, this way you preserve the gymnasts and mitigate their load as each one competes only one round

@slutgymnast Tbh my tweet was more general feeling than specific to this case because i feel like we get that a lot. “Theres not enough separation” is kind of embedded in how those body shape deductions are measured. I feel like we should have 0.1,0.2,0.3 range for most of them.

The thing with vault scoring is that most of the gymnasts get these crossed legs, leg sep, toes, bent arms deductions by default but how big or small those seem to the naked eye doesn’t translate to an more or less deductions, hence the feeling of overscoring imo

Angelina’s DTY got the highest E-score in the final. Looking back at some of the vaults from other gymnasts, that was completely unfair. The result was correct though—she should have won. But my faith in fair judging at these Worlds is nonexistent

@slutgymnast Yeah i didnt remember schoenmaier’s to be this better than gelya, ig her hop was 0.3 vs melnikova being 0.1? But yeah still her vault is pretty clean i can find a lot to deduct but im no judge my observation in the post was more general feeling not specific to this case
