Wrapping up 2 weeks of fieldwork with @WoutCherlet in Brazil's Atlantic Forest at @araca_project and @antonelli_lab. Our main goal was to map the well-studied ficus tree from the ground & up in the canopy! [1/4]

It's time for the Sophronitis coccinea, a species of orchid endemic to the Atlantic Forest in the south and southeast of Brazil, to colour the forests of our project!

Looking forward to scanning this tree in October!
