The administration now faces a stark choice—one it can no longer avoid. A. Use force to reopen the strait, knowing full well that any strike on Iran’s energy infrastructure will trigger retaliation. Trump blundered into what he thought would be a few day “excursion” as he calls it, maybe Venezuela 2.0. That is not what Israel had in mind, the military has hit all of its targets. He has no idea what he is doing, his intelligence and other aides were appointed not to tell him anything he does not want to hear; not a single one of them can explain what the goal is. Congressional Republicans have their heads deep in the sand, and now talk of $200 billion Pentagon supplemental and sending more potential ground troops

Yesterday I visited civic heroes:
Adi has been in hospital for weeks after a vicious beating by violent settlers while peacefully protecting Palestinians in the West Bank. I admire her quiet strength and compassion and wish her a full recovery. Her attackers are still at large.

סוף סוף יש נתוני שיגורי טילים מאירן לישראל במבצע ״שאגת הארי״. צה״ל סיפקו נתוני שיגורים בכל יום החל מתחילת המבצע. מה רואים? דיי ברור. התחילו חזק מאד עם 140 טילים ביומיים הראשונים - ממוצע של 70 טילים ביום. מאז 200 טילים ב-13 - ממוצע של 15~ ביום. וכמובן תודה ל- @OfekTzach על העזרה בהשגת הנתונים.

US defense official confirms to Fox News that the Pentagon is sending the USS Tripoli, a Marine Amphibious Ready Group, and the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) to Mideast. The Tripoli is stationed out of Japan and would take about 2 weeks to get to the Mideast. Accompanying the ARG and the MEU are approx. 2500 US Marines. First reported by @laraseligman @WSJ

לין דפני וזיו פרנקל ילדות בנות 22 היו החברות הכי קרובות בעולם. הן הכירו בכיתה א' של בית הספר "גוונים" ועד יומן האחרון היו "החברות הכי טובות". הן תמיד היו ביחד. הן גם נסעו יחד למסיבה בנובה ונרצחו יחד שהן מחובקות אחת עם השנייה... לין ודפני נקברו זו לצד זו בקיבוץ עין המפרץ. הי"ד.
