This topic has been very hard for me to speak out on, but I do feel like I have something to say. Going from a team that placed top 5 in the world at champs and then having to role swap just to be able to make a roster in the league doesn't feel rewarding. Regardless if anyone thinks I deserved to be benched. The current tier 1/2 ecosystem does not allow for the best of the best to play at the biggest stages in the world. Personally, I was coming into this year as the #1 Ranked Initiator from champs 2022. I felt that was more than enough with my track record to land a spot for my role, but the reality is that the best players don't usually fit with most orgs' business models. It is also possible that orgs trust the players they already invested in before the league even started. So now anyone not starting in the franchised league is basically praying for job opportunities so that we can live financially stable and hopefully continue our dreams of competing in valorant. I do think that there are many things that riot can do to support t2, but the first thing is making sure this break doesn't exist. It's allowing orgs to leave valorant just to save money because there is literally nothing to play for. So for us players we are jobless for months, and the worst part is some of the best players in the game fall into this category of F/A T2. Even if they are the best players in their roles, if they dont align with the business model of chosen franchised orgs, they won't ever see the franchised stage. That is why I believe something has to change...
