Final thought after long counting day : From 2 MPs and zero states in 1984, BJP has now won 3 consecutive LS elections and is in power or alliance in 21 states. From zero seats in 2011 to 206 in 2026 in West Bengal .. From 3 seats in 2011 to 101 in Assam in 2026.. From one seat in the long history of Keralam politics to now 3 in 2026, From being irrelevant in Puducherry to now being in ruling alliance.. As the BJP’s relentless election machine rolls on, are we heading for an ‘opposition mukt Bharat’ in the age of Moditva or will there be a pushback? And who will drive it when there is no level playing field? Unless you are a Vijay in TN!! Good night, shubhratri!🙏

The Voteshare that the BJP gained under @annamalai_k in 2024 LS polls seems to have entirely transferred to the TVK. The need for an alternative existed. Am sure many within the party would have recognised it. The regrouping with ADMK happened before the BJP had won Bihar and were unsure of how things will pan out in Bengal. Had Bihar been won by BJP before decision to re-align with ADMK was taken, perhaps the thought process would have been different. The road ahead for the BJP is for going solo. To be a possible alternative to Thalapathy Vijay or Vijay Anna's Neo Dravidian model of politics. Its a tough road ahead but on that the party must walk on from this day itself... if it still harbours ambition of breaking ground in Tamil Nadu Assembly on its own. Lessons from Bihar and Bengal must be learnt... And a Blueprint TN be readied. @TVKVijayHQ till then must work twice as hard to deliver on the Trust, the Makkal of Tamil Nadu have reposed on them Pudhiya TamilNadu...

BJP persisted with Suvendhu in Bengal for 5 years, results are there to see. Became impatient with Annamalai in 2 years. Results are there to see. Somehow BJP seems to get TN wrong somehow.

@dmuthuk Brilliant suggestion. I second it. If they want to crack TN, they need to start from the drawing board and make the bold move of giving full control to Annamalai in starting and running everything from ground up.
