The manager deserves pelters but please don't let these players get a free pass, some utterly spineless performances out there, it's like pre season tempo. Some of these expect Big 6 clubs to bid for them.

@GianfrancoShoIa I can understand with woltemade as it came out the blue in last few days. But wissa was chased half the summer. With no DOF it can only have been down to Howe wanting him. The player isn't fit to wear the no9 both in a physical fit and ability sense. But this is all on Howe

I cannot confidently say that I think Newcastle will win today. I haven’t a clue how they’re gunna play. A good performance and a win does not erase the Sunderland disaster, but it would at least offer hope for the rest of the season. #NUFC

@agbnufc_ I'm no conspiracy theorist, but how many times do these examples have to keep happening when it stops being just a coincidence. At the very least the level of refereeing is inconsistent & v v poor

I've just watched Ramsey get sent off for the exact same situation of 'not enough contact for a pen'. Actual laughable inconsistency half an hour apart.

No push to say NUFC should have been given two penalties? Hall then Barnes... including offside goal, no VAR shines a light on dreadful level of officiating in England at top level right now. Woltemade never gets decisions either.

Lewis Miley tremendous again. Dan Burn a man mountain. Jacob Ramsey’s best display in B&W so far. I could mention so many others. Eddie Howe too deserves huge credit after his team selection raised a few eyebrows. NUFC proved they can compete v Europe’s best. Now build on it!

Managed to lock myself out of my X account moments before NUFC kicked off against PSG last night… To go to the home of the European champions and put in that type of performance left me proud as punch. Felt like a win and it should have been. Harvey Barnes… 😩

The Seiko 6139 “Pogue”. Another racing watch worn the weekend before my McLaren v Palou case resumes in the Commercial Court next week. A vintage 1969 yellow faced watch- one of the first automatic chronographs, designed for racing timing long before it became a cult classic. The beady eyed will note the wrong date - wasn’t wearing it long enough to remind myself how to set it. Plus I wore it at QPR, and we lost, so it’s now officially not one of my lucky watches. I won’t wear it in court. Still, it’s a good looker! #watch #watches #seiko #motorsport
