The power of sanctions is now available to Iran. This is the conclusion we must draw. We applied the sanctions (economic) weapon liberally and ruthlessly to crush nations who did things with which we disagreed. Now, it is being applied to us. I say that with no relish or happiness—and if anybody is tempted to enjoy the schedenfreud, I urge them not to do so, because if this doesn't end soon, either with the USAF entirely suppressing Iranian fires or Trump accepting a colossal geostrategic loss, the pain will be worse than anything we have felt for almost a hundred years.

If Kamala Harris were in office, we wouldn't be at war in Iran but the border would be open, Elon would be in jail, X wouldn't exist, and there'd be a bipartisan amnesty. I have a lot of issues with the current administration. Everyone who is HONEST does. Real life isn't utopia.

There are many great cities in Europe but there's just nothing that compares to Moscow as a megapolis. London is the only one that comes close but it's a shithole unless you're filthy rich. Berlin is a shithole. Paris has nice non-shithole parts. Vienna is lovely but a village

Moscow had the potential, in the late 2000s, to get there and in another timeline, where the Russian middle class got lucky, it got there as the coolest city in Europe. Not in this dimension though.
