this account is dedicated to calling out artists who use ai deceptively, most commonly tracing or heavy referencing, in order to prevent innocent commissioners from being scammed. i will be RTing call out posts with sufficient evidence and commenting on scammers posts.

ai art is literally all the same shit. at this point if you wanna commission anime art, make sure the artist has any social medias before 2022 before you do it.

this artist is an ai user no art history anywhere before 2024, and typical ai art style/anatomy these are the easiest giveaways

Making a beware about this individual @/Maskey_Artist that has been scamming on vgen with Ai traced images for a long time. He has depended on other artists work since the beginning of his art career and now uses AI to make cheap YCHs and Vtuber art comms🧵

Just to be entirely clear: Mossuki did NOT receive a dox threat, if she did, why did she close the comments??? What’s the correlation?? I used wayback and everything, nobody doxxed her in the comments. So… here’s the real reason she closed the comments:

This is exactly the type of tactic that is such a red flag 🚩 As I mentioned in the Artist Broker Scam video, this is a studio not a single artist but a broker (check @artraffleaudit ‘s post for more details). They use raffles (and with this account CONSTANT raffles) and tagging big vtubers (See for yourselves the sheer amount of posts this account tags Iron Mouse in) in order to gain traction. If something smells fishy it’s because it probably is.

this artist @c_ccrispy traces AI art, and uses AI backgrounds. notice how all theri backgrounds look different, some with lineart, some without, some with just poorly pasted CSP brushes on top. notice the difference in style, the similarity to typical AI anatomy & simple poses

@Aelion_UMBR honestly? the anatomy looks off, something about the angle of the head and left arm, and legs. it also has less views than your other posts so it's just an algo thing as well.

I've paid over 10k$ last year for art. And to me, that's almost 2 years of salary in my country. It's a lot of money for me, my monthly salary is ~600$. I've used twitter, skeb, vgen, fiverr etc. This complaint isn't "one bad experience", it's something consistent that I've had to deal with over the past year. In my case, for minor things like my eye pattern and ahoge, 90% thankfully will revise and add. But other things are a coin flip (armor, chains, coins, fishnet even). The worst experiences have been with merchandise. I give them the requirements for the canvas size, DPI and color mode and then the delivered piece is not that canvas size or they don't give me the PSD and the PNG isn't in CMYK. This basically means that the piece is unusable for its intended purposes. I've been told it's me who's the problem for not checking them properly. To that, I don't know how to check properly. I thought I did, but every belief system I had was shattered. Reviews are faked everywhere. I've worked with people who worked with vtuber companies and they gave me 6 fingers. I've worked with people recommended by mutuals, they weren't on time or responsive for my piece. I've worked with studios, those were probably the worse experiences of my life. The gaslighting, the lack of care for customers, the blacklisting for raising a concern of similarity. 💀 I've seen the horror stories with "reputable artists" who have 5 year wait lists, gossip confidential info to their other clients etc, so not even the "elite" are reputable in my eyes. So maybe it is me, but honestly, even if it is, I don't think this should be the experience an average vtuber has to go through to get seasonal art. Being scammed, made to feel like dogshit, like they're not good enough for the artist to put effort in. I don't have a manager, I don't have a team, I am alone. I have to micromanage artists in their job when I shouldn't have to. Perhaps that's the issue, that I think I shouldn't have to micromanage every aspect of a commission. I also have aphantasia, it makes it such a pain to try and envision something, especially on a messy sketch. Most people have a policy of barely any revisions or corrections. Many, despite not mentioning it, don't even communicate at all. My favorite is asking what I think, waiting 2 hours and then marking the comm as complete. I'd expect it from skeb, where it's the modus operandi, but this happens on every platform. If I had to rate my experience with people getting the design right, it would be skeb > fiverr > twitter > vgen. I appreciate people liking the design, others reaching out to offer their services or mention people they had success working with. As I stated in the first post, I need a break from working with artists, so I won't be looking into new comms for now. Sorry again for the long rant post, it was easier to reply to all the comments this way 😭

Nothing more freeing than being able to be a man of your word and stick by that. You can call me whatever you want but I'll never be a liar. I am more than happy with my stance and how things are turning out. Just remember to stick to a story if you have anything regarding me.
