One year ago today, @cognition's acquisition of Windsurf changed everything for me personally. Most of the conversation centered around the founders & engineers heading to Google. I knew the bigger story was about who stayed... I’ve always believed engineering builds incredible products, but GTM is what turns them into category defining companies. It’s the bridge between great technology and customer impact. @ScottWu46 & @russelljkaplan understood that. They invested in the people who brought transformative technology to the world’s largest enterprises. One year later, watching Devin’s massive growth and adoption has only reinforced that belief. And yes, operating with a massive chip on your shoulder is effective. Winning is the best revenge. Happy one-year anniversary to everyone who believed. The best is still ahead.
