A Kafka-like scene. In this Venice court room, Carlo scarpa was charged with practicing architecture without a license. He never got an architecture degree. Scarpa never completed his architecture schooling. The judge dismissed the case however on the grounds that Scarpa, who happened to be the designer of the courtroom, was a pretty good architect in his estimation.
